FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is an incubator for cultivating microorganisms and/or for executing a biochemical reaction (variants), a method for examining the sample material (variants), as well as an application of the incubator for in situ cultivation and in situ inactivation of microorganisms. The incubator has a chamber for placing a sample receiver or a sample, a heating apparatus, and a sample inactivation apparatus. The method includes implementation of an incubation program, an inactivation program, disposal of the sample receiver or the sample.
EFFECT: inventions provide a single apparatus acceptable for cultivation and inactivation of a sample.
