FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for incubating samples in containers, for example in Petri dishes, and obtaining digital images of plating results. The chamber for incubation of biological samples contains a window for loading and unloading containers, shelves with cells for placing containers, two 3-axis manipulators with a gripper for the container, a module for forming digital images of samples, and a control unit. In this case, the manipulators are located one above the other with the possibility of overlapping the working stroke of each other, ensuring access of the gripper of each manipulator to the container located in the working volume of the incubation chamber, and are equipped with “red zone” sensors, designed to detect the presence of the manipulator gripper in the “red zone”, located around the window for loading and unloading containers, and characterized by a possible collision of manipulators. The control unit is configured to control the movements of the manipulators and contains a protection unit configured to send a signal to stop the movement of the second manipulator when the “red zone” sensor of the first manipulator is triggered.
EFFECT: increase in the productivity of the incubation chamber with photographing samples placed in containers, while eliminating the “collision” of the grips of two manipulators in the area of the window for loading and unloading containers.
