FIELD: rocket and space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket and space technology, and more specifically to protective panels. The aircraft protection panel consists of lightweight ceramic tiles, sheathed in a heat-resistant composite. The tiles are glued to the surface of the case together with an individual backing with heat-resistant glue. The tiles are in the form of inclined prisms, the base of the prisms is a regular polygon. The bases are offset relative to each other in the direction of one of the diagonals. The substrates, except for the extreme ones, are made of an elastic material, such as rubber. The size of the gap between the edges is determined by the expansion of the tiles when heated, as well as the amount of deformation of the body from the action of static and dynamic loads.
EFFECT: reduced likelihood of destruction of the protective panel.
