FIELD: aerospace technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket and space technology, namely to protective elements. The protective panel of the aircraft consists of tiles rigidly fixed on the outer surface of the aircraft with the formation of an external outline of the aircraft, and a thermal insulation coating. The thermal insulation coating is placed between the tiles and the outer surface of the aircraft. The tiles are made in the form of elongated plates. Each plate is made with a cross-section in the form of a parallelogram. The plates are arranged on the surface of the aircraft sequentially so that the side faces of adjacent plates are parallel to each other, with the formation of a gap equal to the relative temperature expansion of the plates. In the central part, a number of holes are made along the plate, one of which is round with flanging, and the rest are oval. The length of the oval holes is equal to the sum of the width of the hole and the length of the thermal expansion of the plate material from the central hole to the oval. The plates are fixed to the outer surface with screws. Oval holes are provided with overlapping washers installed between the outer surface of the aircraft and the plates.
EFFECT: simplification of the design is achieved.
