FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in means of obtaining and maintaining a high vacuum. The high-vacuum diffusion pump contains a housing, a heating boiler (5) for the working vaporizing liquid and a heater (6). The heating boiler (5) for the working vaporizing liquid is located in the lower part (3) of the housing. The heater (6) is made of a heating cable made in the form of a spiral and is placed at the bottom of the boiler (5). The heater (6) consists of two rows of heating cable, which are fixed in four guides made of stainless steel. The bottom of the boiler (5) is made without using a rectangular channel to accommodate the heating cable. The heater (6) is washed with working fluid from all sides.
EFFECT: reducing heat losses during steam preparation in the boiler, as well as improving heat exchange between the heating surface and the working fluid.
