FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: nucleic acids are described, encoding capsid proteins VP1, VP2 and VP3 of an adeno associated virus (hereinafter – AAV) containing a modified Kozak sequence selected from SEQ ID NO: 2-11, SEQ ID NO: 13-32 or SEQ ID NO: 34-45. Insect cells for producing capsid proteins VP1, VP2 and VP3 of an adeno associated virus (AAV) are also presented, containing the specified nucleic acids. Besides, methods for producing a recombinant AAV (hereinafter – rAAV) in an insect cell are described.

EFFECT: invention provides for AAV vectors with sequences of VP1 translation initiation that lead to rAAV particles with increased biological activity (for example, infectivity), as well as production systems based on AAV for producing these infecting rAAV particles.
