SUBSTANCE: ventilation apparatus connected to the exhaust tube for removing smoke from the kitchen outside comprises: a water tank with a water supply plug provided on the upper side of the container with a space for storing water therein; a cooling vessel with a space for storing water in the lower side thereof and an inlet tube connected to the exhaust tube, through which the smoke flows and which is formed on one side thereof, and an upper hole connected to the water tank; and a sealing pad provided on the upper edges of the side surfaces of the cooling vessel in order to seal the gap between the cooling vessel and the water tank. Multiple compartments are installed in a vertical position on the lower side of the cooling vessel, and the smoke flowing through the inlet tube is cooled and reduced when passing between the water in the water tank and the cooling vessel, and through the multiple gaps formed in the compartments, so that only purified gas is exhausted to the outside.
