FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: in the method for synchronisation, executed in a wireless communication system, a PBCH including one or more bits is transmitted. One or more bits from said at least one bit therein indicate additional system information if the frequency of the wireless system is within the frequency range up to a predetermined frequency, and indicate the location of a group of slots in the set of synchronisation signal packets including said group of slots if the frequency of the wireless system is higher than said predetermined frequency, wherein said group of slots comprises at least one synchronisation signal block.

EFFECT: possibility of indicating the locations of SS synchronisation signal blocks, as well as additional system information in the PBCH physical broadcast channel, thereby significantly reducing the procedure for detecting the network of a terminal apparatus.
