FIELD: mobile communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a user terminal and a radio communication method in new generation mobile communication systems. The user terminal has a receiving section that receives a synchronization signal block containing a broadcast channel and a control section that interprets an information item in the broadcast channel depending on whether a condition is satisfied. This condition includes at least one indication of the absence of a system information block associated with the synchronization signal block, or the absence of CORESET for receiving the system information block associated with the synchronization signal block.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of using the broadcast channel in the synchronization signal block.
