ELECTRICALLY HEATED JUMPSUIT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B63C11/28

Abstract RU 2763217 C1

FIELD: wearing apparel.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-protective clothing, namely, to jumpsuits with active heating, intended for protecting the body of the wearer from adverse environmental influences at low temperatures. The electrically heated jumpsuit comprises electric heating elements connected with an autonomous power source via a switching system, based on heating resistive wires made of metallised polymer filaments secured along a wave-like trajectory excluding straight sections. A zipper is made on the inside of the elastic fabric base in two directions in the front. The fabric base is configured for additional heating elements for hands, feet, and head, to be connected the heating system of the jumpsuit. The heating power of the additional elements is controlled by a control unit together with the heating power of the jumpsuit. Two connectors are located in the front of the jumpsuit in the upper part of the chest and in the belt area for connecting the power unit to the heating system, and the power unit combining a set of accumulator batteries and a heating control unit by means of a belt or shoulder cover can be placed both in the upper and lower position when connected to the corresponding connector.

EFFECT: effective heat transfer and high fire safety, as well as comfort of the jumpsuit during use are achieved.
