SUBSTANCE: apparatus for drying bulk substances relates to drying equipment and can be used for dehumidifying grain, malt, and other bulk materials. The substance of the proposed apparatus consists in containing a cylindrical chamber consisting of two parts, the first part consists of a body, located wherein are a dehumidified agent (grain) supplying hopper, an ioniser for ionising the incoming air, and an electromagnet creating a rotating electromagnetic field for creating a vortex effect, swirling the ionised air together with the dehumidified agent around the axis of the chamber, wherein the inputs of the ioniser and the electromagnet are connected with the outputs of the first and second electronic control units, respectively, and the second part of the cylindrical chamber consists of coaxially arranged inner and outer shells, interconnected by perforated dividers, wherein the inner shell is made of a porous powder material exhibiting a capillary effect, hot air is also supplied to the inlet of the chamber through the first part thereof, wherein the hot air from the inlet of the cylindrical chamber is also supplied through air ducts and holes in the outer shell of the second part of the cylindrical chamber into the gap between the inner and outer shells. Installed at the outlet of the chamber is a shutoff valve perforated with holes at a certain angle to the plane perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical chamber, wherein the diameter of the perforated holes is smaller than the size of particles of the dehumidified agent.

EFFECT: simplification of the apparatus, increase in the efficiency of dehumidifying, and increase in the operating life.
