FIELD: drying.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for automated dehumidification of bulk substances relates to drying equipment and is intended for dehumidifying an agent (e.g., grain, malt, and other bulk substances). The apparatus comprises a cylindrical chamber consisting of two parts, the first part consists of a body, a hopper, an ioniser and an electromagnet, wherein the inputs of the ioniser and the electromagnet are connected with the first and second outputs of the electronic control unit, respectively, and the second part of the cylindrical chamber consists of the coaxially arranged inner and outer shells interconnected by perforated dividers, wherein the inner shell is made of a porous powder material exhibiting a capillary effect, installed at the outlet of the chamber is a shutoff valve perforated with holes, wherein the diameter of the perforated holes is smaller than the size of particles of the dehumidified agent, and said shutoff valve is tightly pressed to the outlet of the chamber by a spring rigidly coupled with the inner shell, a humidity sensor is also installed on the shutoff valve at the side of the cylindrical chamber, the output whereof is connected with the input of the electronic control unit, the shutoff valve is hingedly coupled with the inner shell by one end, and connected with the outer shell is a console, hingedly coupled with the free end whereof is a solenoid, the movable core whereof is hingedly coupled with the free end of the shutoff valve, and the input of the solenoid is connected with the third output of the electronic control unit.

EFFECT: automation of the dehumidification process and acceleration thereof due to the reduction in the dehumidifying time, simplification of the apparatus, and increase in the operating life.
