FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry production. The foundry multilayer shell mold for the manufacture of metal castings according to the smelted models contains thin-walled facing, inner intermediate and outer layers. The inner intermediate layers are made using materials whose plasticity, when exposed to the calcination temperature of the shell mold and the temperature of the poured liquid metal, is higher than the plasticity of the materials of the facing and outer layers. When exposed to the calcination temperature of the shell mold and the temperature of the poured liquid metal, the inner intermediate layers change from a solid state to a plastic one.
EFFECT: crack resistance of the casting multilayer shell mold is increased, which guarantees its use without a support filler.
