FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry. The casting multilayer shell mold for calcining and pouring metal in the supporting filler contains thin-walled facing, inner intermediate and outer layers. The outer layer is made using materials whose softening and flow temperature is lower than the firing temperature of the shell mold in the support filler. When exposed to the firing temperature of the shell mold, the outer layer creates a buffer damping layer between the shell mold and the support filler due to the transition from a solid to a viscoplastic state when exposed to the firing temperature of the shell mold in the supporting filler.
EFFECT: increased resistance to cracking and destruction during calcination and pouring of the shell mold in the supporting filler.
