FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to cable penetrations and can be used to ensure passive fire protection of cabling and other building structures, including those at nuclear and thermal power plants. The fire-resistant cable penetration constitutes multiple tubes of various diameters made of a material increasing in volume when exposed to heat, filling a space with a length of 120 to 300 mm in a cable tray or cable ladder; wherein said tubes are placed longitudinally in the direction of the cable tray or cable ladder; wherein tubes of a smaller diameter are placed in spaces formed by contact of tubes of a larger diameter; wherein said tubes are placed so that a cable can be laid through the penetration; wherein a fire-resistant sealing agent is applied hermetically on each side of the filled space of the cable tray or cable ladder along the ends of said tubes; wherein the penetration is provided with a bandage tape over the open sides of the cable tray or cable ladder.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of technical means - cable penetrations, also, in addition to realisation of the purpose thereof, increase in the maintainability of the cable penetration in additional laying of cable through the penetration with the maintained required limits of fire resistance.
