SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to cable penetrations and can be used to ensure passive fire protection of cabling and other building structures, including those at nuclear and thermal power plants. The cable penetration and installation kit for penetration constitute a mineral wool filler at least partially filling a section of space with a length of 150 to 250 mm in a metal box, or tray, or the like, wherein the filler has a density of no less than 150 kg/m3 and is covered with a fire-protective coating at the ends, also applied on at least one cable on each side outside of the section; wherein the filler, at the points of contact of the cable within the section is covered with a fire-resistant sealant; wherein the fire-protective coating is produced by preparation from a kit for preparing a fire-protective swelling cold-curing composition.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of achieving the required fire resistance limits, simplifying the design and installation, while reducing the material consumption, in particular, of a fire-protective coating.
