SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for activating glue for rib gluing of veneers. A method for activating glue for rib gluing of veneers is proposed, including provision of glue on the veneer surface and irradiation of glue on the veneer surface. The method can include providing strengthening material on glue; or providing an adhesive tape on the veneer surface, wherein the adhesive surface contains glue covered with strengthening material or impregnating it. The method can additionally include the irradiation of glue between the veneer surface and strengthening material.
EFFECT: formation of a durable solid glue connection of surfaces of the connected veneer.
