Abstract RU 2651125 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Method of preparing an adhesive wound dressing comprising a central portion and an edge portion, the method comprising steps of: providing a support layer, drawing the support layer into a mould, dispensing a portion of uncured adhesive over the mould, distributing the uncured adhesive in the mould, removing excessive adhesive, curing the adhesive, thereby providing an adhesive laminate consisting of the support layer and the cured adhesive, detaching the support layer from the mould, providing the central portion of the adhesive laminate with a plurality through-going holes, placing an absorbent pad on the non-adhesive side of the central portion of the support layer and laminating a backing layer to the absorbent pad and the edge portion of the support layer. Adhesive wound dressing comprises a central portion, an edge portion and a support layer, at least partly coated with an adhesive layer to form an adhesive laminate. Support layer of the edge portion of the dressing is continuous. Edge portion of the dressing is provided with a pattern of depressions in the adhesive layer. Depressions are in the adhesive layer, but do not pass into the support layer. Central portion is provided with a plurality of through-holes in the adhesive laminate. Through-holes pass through the support layer and through the adhesive layer. Dressing comprises an absorbent pad covering the central portion of the non-skin facing surface of the support layer. Backing layer is laminated to the absorbent pad and the edge portion of the support layer.

EFFECT: inventions enable to maximise the contact area with the skin, but at the same time minimise the coating of the substrate film.
