FIELD: lightning protection coating obtaining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain a conductive layer of lightning protection coatings of structural elements made of polymer composite materials. A knitted mesh fabric made of thin copper wire, coated with solder, is fed into a bath with a liquid flux from a feed drum under tension. Immersed in a bath with a solder melt, the temperature of which is 30-80°C higher than the melting temperature of the solder. The finished web is removed from the said bath at an angle of 97-105° to the solder mirror at a speed of 0.5-1.2 m/min. The application of the flux and the soldering are carried out in a continuous mode. As a result of soldering the contact areas of the adjacent wire loops, a knitted-brazed fabric is obtained having an average specific circular surface electrical resistance of 1.6-1.9 Mohm.
EFFECT: method provides for obtaining a lightning protection coating with high electrical conductivity by improving the quality of soldering of the contact points of adjacent wire loops of the mesh fabric while reducing the excess mass of solder.
