SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry and can be used for processing fibrous materials in spinning production before hackling, before carding, combing, after dyeing and ironing and in the roving shop of the comb spinning system, in the production of nonwovens and artificial or synthetic fur. A method for using magnetized water in the preparation of fibrous materials for carding, combing, processing after dyeing, ironing and in the roving shop is proposed. At the same time, in the process of oiling, water exposed to a magnetic field with a strength of 64 to 720 kA/m is used for the preparation of an oiling emulsion in the laminar mode of its movement or in the area of transition to turbulent for 0.3 to 0.5 s.

EFFECT: claimed invention reduces waste during mechanical processing of fibrous material and thus saves expensive raw materials, improves product quality, reduces the oiled fibrous mixture storing time, thus saving working areas.
