FIELD: absorbent products.

SUBSTANCE: absorbent product is disclosed comprising an absorbent component and an outer member that retains the absorbent component, the outer member being any of the configurations (A) to (C) below, and the difference in total light transmission in the thickness direction in the outer member between periods moisture absorption and a period corresponding to a dry state is 5% or more, while the color of the outer element is any of the tones (a) - (c) below, in the Munsell color system; (A) a configuration including a sheet constituting an inner layer and located on the side facing the skin of the wearer, the sheet constituting an inner layer formed from thermoplastic fiber, a sheet constituting the outer layer and located on the non-skin side with the sheet constituting the outer layer is formed of thermoplastic fiber and the sheet containing the cellulose fiber disposed between the sheet constituting the inner layer and the sheet constituting the outer layer; (B) a configuration including a sheet constituting an inner layer and located on the side facing the skin of the wearer, the sheet constituting an inner layer formed from a thermoplastic fiber, a sheet constituting an outer layer and located on a side not facing the skin, when wherein the sheet forming the outer layer is formed of a thermoplastic fiber and the sheet containing the cellulose fiber and located closer to the skin side of the wearer than the sheet forming the inner layer, and (C) a configuration comprising a sheet defining the inner layer and located on the side facing the skin of the wearer, the sheet defining the inner layer being formed partly from thermoplastic fiber and partly from cellulose fiber, and the sheet defining the outer layer and located from the side not facing the skin, the sheet forming the outer layer being formed of a thermoplastic fiber; and (a) luminance/lightness is N9.0 (white), (b) hue is R (red), YR (yellow-red), or Y (yellow), and luminance/lightness is V8 or less, and chroma/saturation - C3 or more, and (c) tone - GY (green-yellow), G (green), BG (blue-green), B (blue), PB (blue-magenta), P (magenta) or RP (red -purple).
