FIELD: analytical research.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of analytical research, to the analysis of aqueous solutions and can be used to determine doxycycline in them using optical spectroscopy. The first fiber-optic sensor contains an optical fiber made of quartz glass with a length of at least 10.5 cm, the surface of the middle part of which is 1 cm long with a deposited layer of gold 40 nm thick, and is bounded on both sides by a PTFE shell. The second fiber-optic sensor contains an optical fiber made of quartz glass with a length of at least 10.5 cm, the surface of the middle part of which is 1 cm long with a deposited layer of gold 40 nm thick, covered on top with an organometallic frame structure 20 nm thick with the formula Zr6O4(OH)4 as a ligand with 1,4-benzodicarboxylic acid (UIO-66), and is bounded on both sides by a PTFE shell. The ends of the optical fiber of the first and second fiber-optic sensors are the sections for the input and output of radiation. Methods for the manufacture of these fiber-optic sensors and a method for the determination of doxycycline in aqueous solution are proposed.
