FIELD: optics; biophysics.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining amplified signal of Raman scattering of light from human serum albumin molecules in liquid droplets by means of plasmon effect induced on silver nanoparticles by coherent laser radiation, characterized in that an aqueous drop containing human serum albumin and silver nanoparticles of size 32 nm is applied on the silver film. Laser is then focused on the portion of the drop having the greatest radius of curvature, and the enhanced Raman scattering of the protein molecules near the drop surface is detected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of obtaining a repeated signal of giant Raman scattering from protein molecules – human serum albumin in a solution, performing its detection and subsequent determination of structure in native form.
