SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of genetic engineering and biotechnology, namely to a guide RNA molecule, a ribonucleoprotein complex of the CRISPR/Cas system containing a guide RNA molecule, and to a set containing a ribonucleoprotein complex of the CRISPR/Cas system and specific oligonucleotides for pre-amplification of a highly conserved section of the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to effectively detect the RNA of the SARS-CoV-2 virus after specific amplification of a fragment of the genome of this virus and provide detection of single copies of the SARS-CoV-2 virus RNA.
