FIELD: precursor products.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a precursor product to be used in the manufacture of a superconducting wire, to a method for producing a precursor product and to a superconducting wire. According to the invention, the precursor product is a wire-drawn composite pipe product, the composite pipe comprising: a group of composite wires; barrier layer; and a protective layer, the group of composite wires having: a plurality of tin wires, each of which has at least one tin core made of a tin or tin alloy and a copper matrix that surrounds the at least one tin core; and a plurality of niobium wires, each of which has a plurality of niobium cores made of niobium or a niobium alloy, and a copper matrix that surrounds the plurality of niobium cores, the plurality of niobium wires being arranged so that each of the tin wires is surrounded by niobium wires, a group of composite wires contains titanium, and the titanium content is greater than or equal to 0.38 wt.% and less than or equal to 0.55 wt.%.
EFFECT: obtaining a superconducting wire having an increased critical current density.
