SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The mechanism for maintaining the pressure of the movable contact includes a frame; a first elastic piece, one end of which is connected to the first end wall of the frame, and the other end is connected to the first dividing wall; a second elastic piece, one end of which is connected to a second end wall of the frame, and the other end is connected to a second dividing wall, the dividing walls being slidably arranged in the frame; a stopper installed on the movable contact arm and extending into the frame. The baffle plates are abutted against the stopper if the dual power transfer switch is switched to the first power on position or the second power on position.

EFFECT: ensuring stable pressure of the movable contact on the fixed contacts, as well as increasing the speed of movement of the movable contact when opening, which prevents arcing.
