FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressure compensation systems, primarily, for compensation of pressure between the environment around an autonomous underwater apparatus and the medium (liquid or gaseous) filling the inner volume of the sealed body of the underwater apparatus. The apparatus for equalising the pressure in the sealed body of an autonomous apparatus operating when the ambient pressure changes comprises a durable body in the form of a high-pressure cylinder, including a cylindrical part with covers at the ends thereof, a piston installed in the cavity of the durable body, configured for reciprocating movement thereof when the ambient pressure changes relative to the pressure in the sealed body of the autonomous apparatus, forming a working area increasing when the ambient pressure is increased and a compensation area connected with the cavity of the sealed body of the autonomous apparatus and increasing when the ambient pressure is decreased, mutually isolated from each other on opposite sides from the piston, in the cavity of the durable body, when the piston moves. A cylindrical shell is installed around the cylindrical part of the durable body at a predetermined distance, forming an annular cavity filled with a damping liquid. The central part of the sealed cylindrical shell is made of an elastic material, configured to change the shape when the ambient pressure changes relative to the pressure in the sealed body of the autonomous apparatus. The apparatus for equalising the pressure is configured for the damping liquid to be supplied to the working area of the cavity of the durable body and for the piston to be displaced under the impact thereof when the ambient pressure exceeds the pressure in the sealed body of the autonomous apparatus and for the damping liquid to return to the annular cavity under the impact of movement of the piston when the pressure in the sealed body of the autonomous apparatus exceeds the ambient pressure.
EFFECT: reliability and durability of the apparatus for equalising the pressure is increased.
