FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary microbiology and concerns a method for obtaining an immunomodulator. The presented method includes the following stages: cultivation of the BCG vaccine strain, destruction of the culture by ultrasound, isolation of the antigenic complex, mixing of the supernatant fluid with formalin, determination of protein content, conjugation of the reaction mixture with betulonic acid at a ratio of 1 mg/ml of protein: 500 mcg/ml. At the same time, the administration of the drug to animals does not cause difficulties due to the insignificant content of betulonic acid in it (500 mcg/ml).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively correct the immune status of animals in the tuberculosis process, has pronounced protective properties, and is harmless to animals.
