FIELD: nuclear technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an improved solid oxide fuel cell unit on a metal substrate, fuel cell batteries, fuel cell battery assemblies, and methods for manufacture thereof. In the solid oxide fuel cell unit on a metal substrate, the plates of the metal substrate and the cutout plates form a first and a second opposite surfaces, wherein at least one solid oxide fuel cell is located on the second surface of each plate of the metal substrate; the metal lining pad comprises an outer perimeter and multiple inner perimeters of the cutout, wherein the first surface of each plate of the metal substrate and the first surface of each cutout plate are attached to the second surface of the metal lining pad, and each inner perimeter of the cutout of the metal lining pad is fully overlapped by the plate of the metal substrate; the second surface of the metal connecting plate is hermetically attached to the first surface of the metal lining pad.
EFFECT: maintained uniform compression throughout the entire battery for the purpose of maintaining gas-impermeable sealing and achieved acceptable electrical resistance between the layers of the fuel cell battery and the adjacent parts.
