FIELD: production of sorption active elements for cleaning gas media from toxic admixtures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing of ground particles of carbon sorbent and polymer, molding and heat treatment in mold, extraction of block from mold and cooling it. Used as carbon sorbent is activated carbon with catalytic additives; content of fractions at ratio of average size of polymer and activated carbon particles is equal to 0.36; 0.54;1.08; 2.15 respectively (in mass-%) 0.5-3.5; 20-73; 73-20; 0.5-3.5; content of activated carbon and catalytic additives is preferably as follows (in mass-%): activated carbon, 89.40-91.88; copper, 6.0-7.50; chromium, 1.80-2.50; silver, 0.02-0.10; triethylene diamine. Proposed method makes it possible to produce sorbing blocks of high activity of absorbing such gases as cyanogen chloride, hydrocyanic acid, phosphorus hydride.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
