FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and is intended for cooling power oil transformers. The device for cooling the oil transformer includes a compressor connected to an electrical energy source. It also contains a circulation system connected in series by tubes, filled with elegas. There are also fine and coarse filters. Two stages of cooling: the first stage is an air coil installed after the filters, the second stage is a heat exchanger wrapped around the outer surface of the pipe of the cold-water supply system, and then passing rectilinearly in the inner part of the pipeline. The device is equipped with an automatic control system that regulates the opening and closing of the valves, receiving a signal from the controllers depending on the set parameters. The principle of operation of the automatic control system is to control the oil temperature in the transformer.
EFFECT: increase in the controlled cooling efficiency of the oil transformer during prolonged and short-term overloads in the summer to prevent failures and unjustified shutdowns of the transformer.
