FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in cooling power transformers. In a power transformer cooling device, comprising a tank filled with insulating oil with a power transformer located therein, insulating oil cooling system, which includes a circulation pipe for insulating oil and a cooling agent circulation system, refrigerant used is freon, which changes its aggregate state when cooling insulating oil from liquid to vapour, at that, on the circulation pipe of oil return to the freon circulation system there is a liquid separator – an expander, freon circulation system is fixed to the liquid separator – expander and consists of series-connected low-pressure freon vapour pipelines, screw compressor, high-pressure vaporous freon pipeline, air cooling condenser, high-pressure liquid freon pipeline, expansion valve, a low-pressure liquid freon pipeline, a liquid distributor arranged in the tank, with the possibility of maintaining the freon boiling point temperature at constant level regardless of the ambient temperature.
EFFECT: reduction of coolant consumption, maintenance of power transformer temperature at constant level.
