FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of motion control of spacecraft (SC) using electric jet engines (EJE). The multifunctional electric propulsion subsystem of the spacecraft contains correction units, power devices, electrostatic discharge protection filters, discharge filters, switches. Single-channel unreserved power devices are used as power sources, one of which is in cold standby reserve. The connection of correction units and power devices is carried out by means of one or more motor switches, each of which provides connection of any power device to any correction unit of the corresponding switch. The number of single-channel unreserved power devices is one more than the number of simultaneously switched-on engines. Electrostatic discharge protection filters are located in the motor switches for each correction unit.
EFFECT: when using the invention, the application of a minimum range of equipment is achieved for constructing various configurations of a multifunctional electric propulsion subsystem of a spacecraft and ensuring guaranteed operation of two or more correction units, provided there is any single malfunction of the power device.
