FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and, in particular, to a tool for installing and removing an internal magnet in a cochlear implant. The tool for installing and removing an internal magnet of a cochlear implant comprises a pusher bar, a pusher, a protective casing, a spring, a locking ring, a limiter, an external coupling, a handle, a threaded part, a magnetic part, a window and a neck, a pusher thread, a thread of the magnetic part. One end of the pusher is connected with the pusher bar and the other end of the pusher is provided with a thread compatible with the thread of the magnetic part and intended for connecting the pusher with the magnetic part. The pusher is put on a spring, the spring is put on the protective casing and the external coupling. A limiter is provided at one end of the protective casing, abutting against the locking ring located outside of the outer coupling and preventing disconnection of the protective casing and the spring when the spring is released. A handle is provided between the threaded part and the external coupling. One end of the neck is put on the magnetic part and the outer part of the thread, a window is provided thereon for placing the internal magnet in the cochlear implant, the other side of the neck is provided with an elastic neck, the diameter whereof corresponds to the diameter of the hole for placing the internal magnet in the cochlear implant.

EFFECT: use of the inventions provides a possibility of simplifying the stages and reducing the time of the operation, reducing the pain in the patient.
