FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to building and can be used in manufacturing pretensioned reinforced concrete products. The method for tensioning reinforcement made of metal with shape memory in reinforced concrete structures consists in the fact that the middle part of the reinforcement, subjected to the greatest stretching during the operation of the reinforced concrete structure after concreting, is heated, then cooled to a temperature corresponding to the beginning of the martensitic transformation of the metal, and subjected to mechanical tension, then the stretched reinforcement is laid in a mould and concreted. Upon reaching 75% of the design strength of the concrete, the stretched area of reinforcement is heated ensuring the austenitic state of the metal of the ends of the reinforcement.
EFFECT: provided uneven pretensioning along the reinforcement bars to increase the strength of the product.
