SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the tobacco industry, namely, to an aerosol-generating apparatus and an aerosol-generating system. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a casing forming a chamber with an open end for inserting an aerosol-generating article into said chamber and a closed end opposite to the open end. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a flat spiral inductance coil located at the closed end of said chamber. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a susceptor element located inside said chamber at the closed end. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a power source and a controller, connected with the flat spiral inductance coil and configured to supply alternating electric current to the flat spiral inductance coil so that during use the flat spiral inductance coil generates an alternating magnetic field for induction heating of the susceptor element, and thus, heating of at least a section of the aerosol-generating article placed inside said chamber. Also disclosed is an aerosol-generating system containing the aerosol-generating apparatus.

EFFECT: structural simplification of the aerosol-generating apparatus and increase in the reliability of operation of the aerosol-generating apparatus due to the elimination of the impact of the inductance coil on the aerosol.
