FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to obtain an output signal frequency varying according to an arbitrary law, including a pseudo-random one. The digital synthesizer of variable frequency contains serially connected sensor of the address of the periodic function 2, the unit for calculating the periodic function 10, the switch 11, the first multiplier 7, the adder 8, the unit for calculating the phase 13, the unit for calculating the amplitude 14, the second multiplier 17, the digital-to-analog converter 18 and the filter low frequencies 19, a pseudo-random sequence length sensor 3 and a pseudo-random sequence generation unit 6 connected in series, a signal duration code sensor 1 and a divider with a variable division ratio 9, connected in series, a frequency band code sensor 4, an initial frequency code sensor 5, a serially connected amplitude-modulating function address sensor 15 and an amplitude-modulating function calculator 16, a clock pulse generator 12, the output of which is connected to the clock inputs of a divider with a variable division ratio 9 and a calculation unit phase 13.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of signal synthesis with a set duration, range, initial (center) frequency, arbitrary law of frequency modulation, including pseudo-random and arbitrary law of amplitude modulation of the output signal within the selected frequency band.
