SUBSTANCE: in the paging scenario for terminal devices with an unutilised active state, unable to communicate with the base station, the base station receives the functional characteristics of utilising the active state of the terminal devices from the network node (MME); determines different time positions for sending an energy saving signal; sends an energy saving signal to the terminal devices in order to indicate the terminal devices to activate the active state.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and efficiency of paging.
