The box forming machine according to the first variant comprises a transforming unit configured to perform one or more functions of converting a sheet material into a semi-finished box having multiple wall sections, closing valve sections, and an adhesive valve, a folding unit configured to interact with the first end of the semi-finished box and move said end to a predetermined position and containing a folding head with a folding plate and a first clamp, wherein the folding plate and the first clamp are configured to clamp and retain the first end of the semi-finished box, including the adhesive valve at the first end of the semi-finished box, and a connection unit configured to interact with the second end of the semi-finished box and move the second end of the semi-finished box so that said end interacts with the first end of the semi-finished box.
