SUBSTANCE: box forming machine includes a converter unit, a folding unit and a connection unit, the converter unit converts the sheet material into a box blank. The folding unit interacts with the first end of the box blank and moves it to a predefined position. The connection unit interacts with the second end of the box blank and moves it into interaction with the first end of the box blank in order to connect together the first and second ends of the box blank.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of packaging equipment.
