FIELD: engineering elements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-pressure pipeline fittings and can be applied, e.g., in petroleum and gas pipelines. Proposed is a valve, installed in the body whereof are two telescopic spindles with locking apparatuses, made in the form of disks with stiffening ribs and connected via articulated lever gears with upper and lower carriages in contact with the guide grooves of the body with protruding lateral sides, wherein the upper carriages by the internal thread interact with the external thread on the corresponding spindles, and the lower ones are secured on rods.
EFFECT: advantage of the proposed gate valve over the known ones is that the presence of two spindles with shutoff apparatuses and the sequence of application thereof in the course of the working cycle, "opening and closing", provides a possibility of controlling the shutoff apparatuses via the corresponding spindle under the pressure of the working medium without applying auxiliary power units.
