FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to a T-shaped silicone radiocontrast endotracheal and tracheostomy tube intended for forming a lumen of the larynx or trachea in chronic stenoses localised below the tracheostome and providing pulmonary ventilation. The tube consists of medical silicone, barium sulphate powder in the amount of 20% wt. is introduced into the silicone, absorbable by X-rays, with the possibility of X-ray monitoring of the position of the tube in the lumen of the respiratory tract. The T-shaped silicone radiocontrast endotracheal and tracheostomy tube is configured to shorten the proximal elbow up to 1.5 cm. The length of the distal elbow is configured to be installed in accordance with the length and localisation of the stenotic area so that the distal end of the tube is placed 1 cm below the stenosis.

EFFECT: occurring radiocontrast property of the T-shaped endotracheal and tracheostomy tube, creating the possibility of objective X-ray monitoring of the position of the tube in the lumen of the respiratory tract in prolonged prosthetics thereof, by routine methods: computed tomography, tomosynthesis, analogue and digital radiography.
