SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for treating patients with combined laryngeal-tracheal stenosis. Hydrogel tampon contains a hydroxyl-cellulose sponge in the form of a cylinder with diameter of 5 mm and length of 40 mm, impregnated and coated with hydrogel, a thickness of the coating of the hydrogel around sponge of 5 mm, diameter of the hydrogel tampon of 15 mm, note here that two caproic threads are attached to the oxycellulose sponge to fix the swab to the tracheostomy tube. Method according to the invention involves placing a hydrogel tampon in a formed lumen, placing the latter so that its edge is 5 mm below the level of vocal folds. Then a tracheostomy tube is installed, to the flange of which a swab is fixed with the help of nylon threads, the tampon is established for 5-7 days.

EFFECT: use of the inventions improves the effectiveness of surgical management, reduces the number of postoperative complications and the probability of the need for repeated surgical intervention, length of inpatient treatment and accelerates complete rehabilitation of the patients with this pathology ensured by fast healing of the postoperative wound, reduced number of postoperative complications, prevention of restenosis of the laryngeal-tracheal lumen.
