FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary medicine, namely to means of increasing colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in newborn calves. Use of preparation “Synestrol-2 %”, injected into sterile cows as a stimulant for increasing colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in calves, is proposed. Method for increasing colostral immunity and nonspecific resistance in calves with preparation “Synestrol-2 %”, which is injected into sterile cows, 3 to 6 days prior to delivery at a dose of 1 ml per animal, subcutaneously and once.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to increase immunoreactivity in sterile cows in the period closest to birth, increase colostral immunity, increase the safety of newborn calves and reduce their incidence.
