FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, namely to a method optimization of processes of formation of immune status in calves during newborns due to application of agents on the basis of probiotic microorganisms to pregnant cows. 10-15 days before calving, pregnant cows are given a lyophilisate of an immobilized polycomponent synbiotic and a sublimated complex synbiotic composition. Additionally one of the proposed agents with the second portion of colostrum for 15 days is included in the calves obtained from them.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to increase non-specific resistance of calves in the neonatal period of life, to form young animals with a highly reactive immune system, as well as to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal diseases.
