A decreasing amplification is applied to the initial audio signal in order to determine the modified initial audio signal. The modified initial audio signal of the initial audio source from the initial position of the source on the sphere around the initial listening position is represented. The target audio signal of the target audio source of the target audio stage is determined. The target position of the source on the sphere around the target listening position is determined. A decreasing amplification is applied to the target audio signal in order to determine the modified target audio signal. The modified target audio signal of the target audio source from the target position of the source on the sphere around the target listening position is represented.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of sound representation when the listening position is changed by the listener.
