SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical household steam ironing appliance comprising base (1) for generating steam, including steam generator (5) comprising boiling chamber (52) and liquid container (4), made with possibility to supply liquid under action of gravity into boiling chamber (52), at that liquid flows out under action of gravity from vessel (4) in direction of boiling chamber (52) until the level of the liquid in boiling chamber (52) reaches an equilibrium level, called the control level, at which the level of the liquid in the device prevents the penetration of air into vessel (4), wherein boiling chamber (52) comprises steam outlet opening (50) allowing steam to be discharged towards working tool (3), such as a smoothing brush, and communication opening (55), connected to pipeline (6; 106), having outlet hole (60; 160), closed by removable plug (7; 107), wherein supply of liquid from container (4) to pipeline (6; 106) provides supply channel (41), outlet into pipeline (6; 106) at the level of inlet hole (67; 167) located above cavity (66; 166) for retention of particles located in lower part of pipeline (6; 106).
EFFECT: creation of device, service life of which is increased due to limitation of blocking of boiling chamber supply channel.
