FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing equipment and can be used for monitoring or testing transceiver radio frequency communication systems. The described technical result is achieved, in particular, by using an additional path in the emulator of a wireless communication channel with a switchable mode of duplex reception and transmission diversity, including, instead of synchronisation-complex active switches or narrow-band circulators acting as apparatuses for separating the receiving and transmitting paths when operating in the duplex mode of temporary reception and transmission diversity, structurally simple broadband passive power dividers, in combination with the switch allowing for use of the emulator of a wireless communication channel for testing communication systems operating both in the frequency duplex mode and in the mode of temporary reception and transmission diversity, including using MIMO technology.
EFFECT: structural simplification of the emulator of a communication channel, expanded operating frequency range thereof, and reduced cost of the component base.
