FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: algae cultivation system includes a set of panels placed inside a cultivation container and positioned along the first axis perpendicular to the direction of gravity, wherein a cultivation volume is created between each pair of panels, wherein cultivation volumes are interconnected via fluid to allow horizontal flow between them along the first axis; at least one first bubbler for distributing the first fluid in the container at the first working flow rate; at least one second bubbler for distributing the second fluid in the container at the second operating flow rate, as well as at least one controller for controlling the first and the second operating flow rates. The first working flow rate is selected so that to allow turbulent mixing of algae in the cultivation container, and the second working flow rate is selected so that to allow assimilation of materials in liquid contained in the cultivation container.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides enhanced algae growth.
