FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method of suppressing quantum noise in optical quantum memory based on a suppressed photon echo recovery protocol, which consists in using two refracting controllers π-pulses, wherein a working substance with a low optical density is used, placed in an optical resonator and controlled by intense laser beams propagating in parallel at an angle to the axis of the resonator in a transverse geometry to the propagation of the signal radiation, used is the change in the frequency of the Q-factor of the optical resonator in the time interval, involving the action of two control laser pulses, a procedure for preparing the absorption spectrum of the quantum memory working substance is used, in which atoms which do not fall within the operating range of quantum memory corresponding to the spectrum of the signal pulse are removed.
EFFECT: suppression of quantum noise in optical quantum memory based on suppressed photon echo recovery protocol.
